You are driving on a bridge and the bridge is being constructed as you are on it! If it was just the scenery that was popping in as you drove, I could maybe deal with that. I have to say that the Sega Saturn port of Daytona has the worst pop-in I have come across in any video game! I legit cannot do justice just how bad the pop-in this game has is. Still, being able to play Daytona USA in our homes at the time was a huge deal. This was an arcade port so that is the reason why the content is rather shallow. You can play against a friend or do a time trial as well. You can race on their tracks, but there are mirror tracks as well. You get to pick from a handful of stock cars and you need to try and win the races. Then your life will be complete.Let’s start with the point of the game. And once you get hooked, ask more people to play with you. Yes, up to 7 persons can play with you at the same time! It's best feature is the eight-linked player game. The best part of Daytona USA isn't how it looks or sounds. Race through three beautiful circuits and race to get first! It's not an easy way to the top! Get behind the wheel of a Daytona car - the Hornet if you play alone or any of the special cars if you're lucky enough to get people to play with you. Groundbreaking when it first came out, it's popularity and reputation grew incredibly and it still is one of SEGA's most beloved titles today. One of the best arcade games to ever exist and without a doubt the most fun in the racing genre, only rivaled by it's successor, OutRun and Hydro Thunder Hurricane. If you grew up in the nineties, you can't NOT have played this game.
